Artist statement

I continually strive to learn new skills and expand my techniques in the hope of creating interesting and engaging bodies of work. While challenging, the process is rewarding. Creating feels as natural as breathing; color is music for my eyes. Developing a painting is like having a heartfelt conversation with a dear friend full of surprises, dialogue, and discovery.
